Metal Scan 'A' Series

The Metal Scan 'A' series is a range of portable metals analyzers, designed to give selectable levels of analytical performance on site, in an easy to use package. Like the other ARUN products, the Metal Scan 'A' series uses advanced CCD detector array technology to provide extreme flexibility.

The Metal Scan ASSORT uses arc excitation in air to provide grade identification, positive material identification (PMI) and semi quantitative analysis of all types of metals. Restandardisation is not required and there are no setting up samples required nor supplied. The sample surface can be rough and even oxidized so preparation is not required. An extensive range of standard calibrations is available in all the common metal bases. For differentiating between 316 and 316L stainless steel grades, the ASCERT is required.
